I played there for months at a time with Galaxy and then a few years later with the Beer Dawgs. Do I know you? You can send me a private message if you want.

The Warrior program at Skips is really a cool thing. Actually you'll get out of it what you put into it. I did it several times years ago and still do from time to time. You meet alot of new people granted their abilities are all over the spectrum. I've made connections that have led to other gigs.
I'd recommend going to an open jam session of their to at least check it out.

I resently picked up the weeping demon wah ...I put it between guitar and amp as told at store where bought. It is a marshall amp and it sounds to me like it effected the sound removing the warm tube sound when the peddle is idle that is not some thing I want, as I like the amps sound . Is there a placement where I can put the peddle, other then on shelf, to change this, or a knob setting recommendation on peddle that will moderate this problem

You have a pedal that uses a buffered circuit (to help keep signal consistent for the next pedal in line... Many wahs boast "true bypass", if you don't have someone to modify yours. Don't lose a lot of sleep over it though, in short order you'll find the wah to be pretty disposable, a novelty for the first day or two, then not so much.. Good Luck, Steve

Hey,just registered on here, not sure what I'm doing yet....I'm a seasoned Blues Rock n Roll guitar player...55 years old and have been playing many years....I'm in two groups but not playing as much as I'd like....where a the best clubs to go sit in and meet quality musicians that might say "let's get it on"? one of my drummers has told me for years to get out there and do some jamming, but i haven't stepped out there yet, but it's time...i've had people tell me that I'm one of the best Blues Rock guitarist in the area, but that's all bull shit to me, but everyone is different and entitled to their own opinions....I don't read or write but can improvise well.....so when and where should i go?
