ok, here goes- main bass is a '66 P-bass made from parts leftover in '64 or '65, its beat to hell but i love her also have my mid 60's (?) Kay upright, plywood top, a studnet model, not sure exactly how old it is, has a Fishman bridge pu and I use a Fishman pre-amp also. Amps:
Small gigs Ampeg R-100 Re-issue 100 watts 1x15
for rock: Ampeg BR1E Peavey Pro 4x10
for the real blues I use a mid 70's Fender Bassman 100 tube head and a 1x15 Dietz cab w/ 1x15 EV

Ibenez Precision Bass Gibson SG-Bass (reissue)
G&K 1001 head G&K two, 12" cabs
extra power cords, extra speaker cords, music stand and low stool. Everything fits in two, easily carried, road cases. I built a custom, wheeled, stand for the G&K head and cabs.
I travel pretty light.
The G&K is the best sounding of everything I've ever played. This head has a fan in it which really extends the reliability.

Amp Carvin B800 Combo (500 watts, 2x12's + horn) (....it "rolls"..... ;D - getting older..had to get lighter.)
Have some pedals...wireless......never use them....just prefer it simple.

I'll throw my GUITAR gear in here for fun:
Just ordered a Fender Blues Jr. for on-the-go playing. The rest is fairly compact but lots of pieces:
Dr. Z Stangray head with TC Electronic delay and reverb through the effects loop (NYC Pedalboards Lunchbox).
2x10 Earcandy Cab (Celestion/Eminence).
1x8 Cabinet that sounds surprisingly good.
Keeley compressor, Xotic Effects RC booster, Zendrive, Retro-Sonic Phaser (to get my Waylon on), Empress Tremolo, Ernie Jr. Volume, Sonic Research tuner. NYC Pedalboard.
American Deluxe Telecaster with Lollar pick-ups (just installed these). Duesenberg Starplayer.
I'm pretty happy with everything. The Zendrive probably needs to go. I need something that adds just a bit of hair and this thing is too much.
A recent experiment with a 1x10 closed-back failed. Maybe a ported 1x10 is what I need. I'd love to use a small cabinet. Also contemplating a 2x8.

For guitar:
83 Fender American Strat w/ Texas Specials p/u 07 Mexi Fender Strat both with graphite bridge inserts
90's Gibson Les Paul Studio
Played through a 20 watt Mesa Boogie Subway Rocket w/ various pedal effects. The amp gets miked during shows with only bleed through to the monitors and mains.
Bass guitar:
Washburn MD-2, 4 string Mercury bass with flat wounds through a Fender 150 watt Rumble, Sometimes a line out to the board.
I've got other guitar amps, but this is what I'ved used the most since 1995. Venues are to small to handle Hot Rod Devilles or Marshalls, which I have also.
Not to knock down drummers, I have had to find drummers who know how to play, not beat the drums to death. Brushes anyone.

I use some archaic equipment from the golden age of metal...the 80s-90s. Rackmount tube preamp with an FX unit into a power amp. Here are my two rigs:
Rig 1: ADA MP-2 > Quadraverb GT > ADA MicroTube (MT200) > Two 1x12 ported (Thiele) cabs Rig 2: ADA MP-2 > Quadraverb Plus > Musicman 50w Tube Combo (RD112 Fifty)
I use the same midi footswitch with each rig, the only stompboxes I have are (left to right) Boss Tuner | Ibanez TS9 | Boss EQ | JH-1 Wah
The TS9 gets replaced by my Auto-Wah sometimes, the EQ is just for clean solo boosts
I can get anything from crystal cleans to bluesy overdrives to searing high gain mayhem outta my rig. I find it to be extremely versatile.
