Definately an all- star cast, Wednesday night. Nice variety in styles and song choices. Every thing from rock, blues, jazz, and country flavored tunes. Every one was on their game and the whole night was exciting and rewarding. Steve, Joe, and Jimmy took us on a magical mystery tour with a brave, bold, and interesting version of " I am the walrus" Here's to the Eggman, coo, coo, kachoo

Another great jam last night!! ..... ...I want to thank the jammers, if I forget someone sorry but here goes: And once again Jimmy Bagshaw played the whole night!! Right on Jimmy, we love you!! Joe, You're right! Holy cow, what a night of GREAT music at Louie's. It's been happening more frequently at Louie's lately where it's like musical magic all night long. Every set is just amazingly great. Like Rand said, numerous musical genres were played, and played damn well by all mentioned. Hats off to Jimmy B. He's a stud playing all night like that. The great thing about Jimmy was that even though he must have been dead tired, he never lost concentration and that impeccable timing and "feel" of his.

Hey guys, I just joined this board. What's the scoop with Louies? Can my band come out on a Sunday and play a song or 2? Or is it just for single musicians to join in and jam. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks for the info. Like I said on another thread, I much prefer at a jam to play with people I've not played with before. It's been awkward for me to tell a band leader who wants to get the whole band on stage that we rehearse and gig enough together already. A jam is really a chance for people to get known by others outside their "immediate" band family. I also prefer seeing jammers perform who aren't together in a band. The orgasmic notions of jams to me are spontaneous arrangements, from new connections on the stage to off.
