What do you guys think about this set up? With my amp cranked do you think it would be loud enough to practice with drums? Do you think the Les Paul Jr would be a ok gigging guitar?

That totally depends on the band and the gig. Different styles have different requirments.
Having said that, in my experience guitar players tend to over amp and then have to play way too loud to "get their tone".

Joe's comments were right on. Don't go to a gun fight with a sling shot (and don't take a pedal board to a blues gig unless the only thing you have to offer is volume). It always depends on the venue and volume needed. I was discussing your post with a blues rhythm guitarist who probably has some of the best tone in town. He broke it down this way - if the Les Paul has P-90's, you can take it to a blues jam; if Humbuckers, to a rock jam; but don't take one with Humbucking P-U's to play blues because, "...it sounds like ass." My thoughts were slightly different - Unless you're Peter Green or Les Paul, leave the guitar home.
