Being married with children, it's hard for me to get out to Louie's on Sunday evenings (5-9). Can't the NASCAR fans get some headsets for the TV so the jam can be moved back to 2pm? Maybe a TV in the parking lot? That will give them surround sound during the races. Sunday afternoons work much better than Sunday evening/nights.

Hey Waterman- You're not alone on that one. 2pm-6pm was way much better. It was the perfect time slot for the musicians that like to go to more than one jam on a Sunday and those that have to get up and face Monday morning, early, etc. It's Louies call, regardless; and still, it's a pleasure to get together and play with our friends, new and old, at his place. I hope it don't ever go away. We have a regular bunch of people that look forward to Steve and the guys' blues party, each week, including me!

Yea, Jim H on Bass has told me all about the jams and I'll get out there soon. I'm really looking forward to it.

Hi guys, What time is the Jam starting on Sunday now? I think it has gone back and forth for a while. I'm hoping to make it out to play finally.
Thanks and still offering a drink for anyone who helps me load in my gear.
Thanks - Syonia

Hey Syonia- So glad you're still around. We start at 5pm on Sundays at Louies. We usually load in and set up around 4pm. I would be happy to help you load in at that time and set you up. Good chance you can play most of the sets as long as it's ok with the other guests. Looking forward to seeing and hearing you. We have some consistently great musicians every week and, like me, will make you feel welcome. See you there! Don't forget we also have a jam here on Wed. nights 8pm-12. Hosted by the Steve Foster Band Better Days Ahead Randy Carey

Thanks to Randy and everyone who were so incredibly nice to me and also schlepped my stuff. I am really excited to come back again. You aren't kidding when you saw these are some of the best players in Sac. If you get guys like Kevin who come in and play like that, I will be happy to supply the keyboard simply in exchange for the schooling and the chance to watch!
See you again soon!
