hey brushdrummer!Istarted playing drums at age 5 and at 7 I got my first drumset.My dad was a guitarist and also played vibes. He would have people over to the house to jam and on the rare ocassions that i was able to sit in with them,my dad would always say"use the brushes". So needless to say,I learned how to play brushes at an early age.I always thanked my dad for exposing me to so many diverse kinds of music.Also,I was in the Navy Band from 1976 to '80.come down to Louie's jam session on wed. 8 to minite or sunday 5 to 9.There's a few good swing players that come, i'm sure you would have a great time!
