I'm looking for both a bassist and a keyboardist who knows their instrument and is motivated and driven to play in an original pro quality band. I am 29 years old and have my degree in music and my drummer also knows how to "speak the language" and we take our music seriously. Singing is a big plus as a lot of my tunes have 3-part harmonies. I'm looking for people who will come to rehearsals prepared so that the band can become as tight as possible without any hand holding. A trained ear is a must. Right now, we rehearse in Roseville on Mondays and Wednesdays but can be flexible. I am very dedicated to getting things moving along and am looking for the right fit.
The music is somewhat hard to classify...singer/songwriter stuff with musicianship including elements of folk, rock, blues, jazz, and jam bands (but this will not be a folk band, a blues band, a jazz band, or a jam band).
