Bassist searching for new situation. Jazz oriented. Love the R n B grooves move me too. Love the 70s fusion stuff, Sea Level, Dixie Dregs,Brand X but also the Meters, Nevilles as well as Stax stuff. Also can funk out ala TOP, Larry Graham and Jamerson.
Looking for a group who likes to expand, yet still be tight. Not a full on jam, but tight and cool enough to step out. More instrumental then vocal oriented. I can sing.
I've been playing for about 3 decades, good equipment and transportation. No terrible vices as yet! Holding the day job. Looking for good mature players. What do you think?
