Just a thought - consider that maybe your creativity hasn't "gone by the way side" with age, you've just become more discerning / demanding of your craft. After all, you ARE still writing, no? If you're interested, I am a drum guy, have a friend who is an accomplished lead (blues preference). We're both in the "old-fart" category, so if nothing else, we can at least partially empathize, maybe over coffee some afternoon...

I'm interested and have an album or two worth of material and quite enjoy the collaborative process. While I would like to play music with others again some empathizing some afternoon would be a good thing.

OK, I want to clear up the missing post mystery.
After I wrote the original post, or a subsequent one which included my number, I started getting some pretty odd calls. Ergo, I deleted both the posts, whereas I should have just deleted the phone number.
I am still looking to collaborate, so if anyone is interested, feel free to shoot me a message on this board.
I play guitar (mostly rhythm), bass, ukulele (yes, it's a real instrument) and I even sing on occasion. Mostly mellow acoustic stuff, some electric rock stuff, a bit of contemporary Hawaiian style and other eclectic crap that I just don't care to classify.
Peace and apologies for the deleted post fiasco and making it look like the stereotype of musicians being flaky are true. My bad entirely.
