I'm not sure who had an issue with the email regarding the board, but I can say for myself I didn't find any issue with it. This place has potential and like people who want to plug their bands, it was a plug for the site. I can appreciate the effort it takes.

I agree with Chris.
In my humble opinion, there was nothing wrong with sending an email to the members of this board.

It certainly gave the forum a jump start.

Some people have too much time on their hands, and comment when a comment is not invited. I found the Email a real help. My computer crashed a couple weeks ago, and I lost some URLs, this one included. So the email helped me get it back on my Favorites List.
