This isn't a gig per se, but it seemed like a more likely place to put it than "lessons". I'm doing a series on chord types; how to play them and how to solo over them. This is the first, and it will focus on the Major 7 chord. $10.00 for Northridge students, $20.00 general public. It's open to anyone beyond beginner. That is, you can get around the neck a little bit and aren't struggling with a G chord. The upper end of the spectrum could include pro's who don't happen to play over a lot of Major 7 chords. I try to make sure there is something for everybody. I plan to do a little playing too, over some minus-one tracks of my tunes. This isn't actually the first one of the "chord types" series I've done. I did one a little over a year ago on dominant chords, but I didn't have any immediate plans to follow it up. Now I plan to hit them all over the course of a few months, so I will be doing the dominants again. You'll want to pre-register: www.northridgemusic.com or 969-4728. Thanks, see you then hopefully.
