Richard,
I received the e-mail. What exactly does a moderator do? I enjoy our board and would not mind helping, but for reasons that would bore everyone so I won't go into it, time for me (as for everyone else) is short.
Can you give us a short job description.

Right now its only myself and Jlev as moderators. And we really dont do much.
It would allow you to create new areas of the message board, and to delete offensive posts if necessary. The only thing I have ever done is delete DEFIANCE from the member list ( which was a bummer )
Also, I want this to be everyones board, and if someone wants to contribute, then bring it on. I like how you said that its 'our board', because it really is. I would love to have all the local musicians using this as a resource, and I will give all the board power that I have to anyone who wants to help build this message board.
Im often very busy at my regular job, and cant check the board for days at a time. I would hate for some nazi rapist freak to post a bunch of crap and drive the loyal board members away.

Thanks Richard I will try to help out as much as I can. Sorry it took so long to bet back to you I was away for a couple days. Also, it's good to know we now have an Intergalactic Moderator, so our board is represented across the universe. |
