Any former musicians who have played or even fans of the Oasis Ballroom, check out this Facebook Group site. Talk about the old days, post pics you have and even meet up with old friends or enemies. Logged into Facebook and search for the Oasis Ballroom, if your a member, if not, join up.  |

I am pre Oasis, but I joined that page. I played a little and hung out more at that room when it was Crabshaw Corner, saw Mike Bloomfield, Mr. Garcia and Mr. Saunders twice, Van Morrison and a bunch of great local bands.

I learned alot from reading on the page. I did not know it was Crabshaw Corner before Ziggies. What was it before Crabshaw?. Anyway thanx for info. I'm a little more knowledgeable now.

Hi,
I owned the Oasis Ballroom from 1980 until it's closure in 1985. I was pretty close to everything that happened during that time frame and find it interesting that there is now a Facebook page.

I thought for sure I saw Leon Russell and also Johnny Winter there in 1986..I know it was December....maybe it was in 1985....Johnny sure sizzled!
