Hey drummers,
Puzzletree formed in late 2007. We are a group of 4 musicians 2 CD's out, one in the works. In late July our drummer felt it was time to move on. Check us out at Facebook "Puzzletree" - and on myspace or you tube, search for "puzzletree916". We have live performance videos posted. We finally lined up a new rehearsal space near midtown Sacramento and we're ready to start moving forward again: gigs, recording & writing. If you think our sound is something you might be interested in contributing to, email me.
We need someone willing to do original tunes, but we throw in some covers here and there also for fun. Most of all, this is a project that can pay for itself, through gigs and CD sales, but the goal is to have fun and make the best music we can. It is not too "intense" and there are no egos to crush newcomers. If you can sing, that is a plus. We have a ton of original material and roughly 30 shows behind us at the usual haunts, and we don't usually gig more than 1x or 2x a month. We typically rehearse on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7p to 10p with an occasional weekend rehearsal. The focus is on writing new songs, incorporating back-up vocals and recording at the moment.
