Drummer available - board newbie

I'm Charlie Nickrenz, drummer, vocalist and recent transplant to the Sac/Gold Country area from Los Angeles. I have many years experience in all styles of music (Pop, Rock, classic and otherwise, country...my jazz chops are weak, but great time, some click experience and a love of song), pro gear (Gretsch, Ludwig and Yamaha drums, Sabian cyms, EV mics, etc.) and attitude and I sing lead and backing vocals. Since arriving here I've worked with the Sacramento Brothers band, a new country/classic rock group that had a few months residency at the Powerhouse. During the past two years I've been touring with Halie O'Ryan and Johnny D's Steelhorse Stampede . I currently work with the Dyin' Breed out of Grass Valley ( Jan. 15 at the Holbrooke Hotel in Grass Valley ) and perform occasionally with the Double Shots (who you may have seen) in an expanded version of their duo ( Jan. 8 and 22 @ Hacienda in Rocklin ).
I'm a quick study with at least a passing knowledge of thousands of songs in a variety of styles. I've previously made my living in casual / convention acts and have worked behind the boards running live sound, booking talent, graphic design and marketing and as a player in studio and on the road in front of as many as 20,000 people. And, let's face it, for as few as two! I have a wicked sense of humor and a ferocious dedication to making people dance.
I'm looking for bands I can contibute to and enjoy doing it, studio situations I can be proud of and bassists I can lock in with. And phrases that don't end with prepositions.
