I'm 80% thru the Beatles Anthology DVD the last couple weeks and really think it's great. The Beatles impress me more now than ever. They covered more ground in less than a decade than one would think possible. $60.00 at Best Buy, best money I've spent in quite a while... :-)

I just finished rewatching Festival Express. Lots of good music from the Dead, The Band, Janis Joplin, Buddy Guy, Ian and Sylvia(just great) Sea Train and others.

I loaded iTunes and hit shuffle and the first ten songs that came up were by Roy Buchanan, the Stones, Black Crowes, Rory Block, Billie Holiday, the Who, Drive-By Truckers, the Mermen, Leo Kottke and John Coltrane. Works for me. ;~)
