If you turned on your iPod, CD player, etc right now.....what would we hear? Why are you listening to it? (example - learning new material, fond memories, self help, etc.)

I am currently rolling with Tower of Power. I'm a bass player so...

I've got a couple of different primary lists I am listening to currently. One is for my next Weekend Warrior round...Wild Night~Morrison, Need You Tonight~INXS, I Won't Back Down~Petty, Green River~CCR, Sultans of Swing~Dire Straits, We're An American Band~Grand Funk
One is a few current and defunct bands that I think should get more attention (Snakefarm, Boxing Gandhis, Everyday Joe)
Then I have a great podcast called Coverville that discovers interesting and different covers of rock, pop, blues and r&b music.
That's the surface. I could get way deeper but I'll leave it at this for now.

For the record (Play On Word Alert), I never assumed it had to be music you were listening to. I know people who "read" books on their car CD's all the time.

I'm listening to the tweekers that live behind me sort sockets and large wrenches in a 55 gallon barrel while simultaneously drilling holes in sheet metal. All done with house lamps(shades incuded). Dont you just love our fine city.

TJ........ I am Jealous of your peaceful surroundings. I'm planning on moving to a rural area within the next 8 months or so. I live in the midtown Sacramento area now and my car has been broken into at least 5 times in the last year, the police have been to my house twice looking for my neighbor, my other neighbor(not the tweeker) had his house robbed a few months back. I am scared to keep any gear at my house due to obvious reasons. lived here almost 15 years and the last year has been really bad. Tired, tired, tired.
Oh yea, I'm listening to: A Punk Rock Compilation.
