Ive been listening to Phil Brown, who does Hendrix covers. Its called the Jimi project You should check it out, its a strange rendition of common Hendrix tunes with a twist. I have that CD and another one (don't remember the title) I found the Hendrix one to be quiite interesting but tossed the other. I agree with Richard, I think it's worthwhile to check out. For some unknown reason, some cat back east mailed me a bunch of audio and video of Joe Bonamassa. I couldn't be more underwhelmed....

Wilco "Wilco the Album" or "Sky Blue Sky". I love the addition of Nels Cline to this band. "Sky Blue Sky" took me a bit to warm up to. Now I think it's one of the more important American recordings.

He sure did. The other thing that blows me away is the sound of his records, way ahead of his time.

I didn't know that Phil jammed with the Black Crows. Good stuff?

Today I'm listening to the Band of Heathens, Goose Creek Symphony and Levon Helm. Nice mix.
